We cannot overemphasize the positive impact that volunteers have on running events. They keep the runners going, help them along the way and at the finish line and, above all, make the event possible and what it is. Charlottesville volunteers love their community and love to showcase it: running a race in Charlottesville is like running with a warm embrace around you.

Here is a list of our volunteers. This does not include the countless other individuals and entities that make the event possible, such as the Albemarle County Police and Western Albemarle Rescue Squad, our sponsors, the Bad to the Bone Team, the many neighbors and residents who come out for the event, and many others.
